Built by the Massault family in the 15th century on the foundations of a 12th century fortified house, Château Lagrezette is the product of a successful blending of traditional medieval sturdy architecture and of elegant Renaissance ornamentation. Owned successively by the Malegar, Lebrun, Belcastel, Malartic, d'Alembert, de Barde and Chevalier families, the Château, which is listed as historical monument since 1982, was purchased in 1980 by Marie-Therese and Alain Dominique Perrin. Now restored to perfection, it has recovered every inch of its former splendor. A man of passions, Alain Dominique Perrin has devoted much of his time and energy to the task of restoring Château Lagrezette and giving back to the estate its true vocation : wine-growing. His wines, which are at once powerful, generous, elegant and refined, are the expression of a profound love of the region, of its art of living, culture and traditions. Today, the quality of Le Pigeonnier, the Cuvée Dame Honneur, and Château Lagrezette is unanimously recognized throughout France as well as abroad.

Mr Perrin appointed Clementine Communications to handle the PR in France and in the UK.
