Every Thursday, on our social media, we’ve been taking our followers on a #ThursdayThrill – showcasing some of the finest things in the world. This month, the spotlight is on some of the most beautiful wineries in the world. Wine and winemaking is something the team at Clementine Com is passionate about, we love learning about it, drinking it, and most importantly telling the stories of a diverse range of wineries.
This week is our trip to T-Oinos, on the magical Greek island of Tinos. A lesser known, but equally beautiful neighbour to Mykonos. As the islands prepare to welcome tourists for the summer season, we want to take the opportunity to share the delights of Tinos – a World Heritage-listed island, famous for its distinctive, eye-catching architecture, with buildings adorned with geometric designs perched on steep hillsides. This is where you’ll find the aforementioned T-Oinos, a premium winery that grows on the volcanic soil of Tinos, the first vines in 3,000 years grown there. These wines have a reputation amongst wine professionals and consumers alike for producing some of the top white wines in the world. If you can’t get to Greece to try some of these wines, you’ll find them on the wine list of London’s top Greek restaurants, which we also can’t wait to visit when the time comes.
