Social Media Coordinator

CONTENT:

  • Create and manage the social media content calendar and monthly social media campaigns – including owned content, Bloggers/vloggers, influencers
  • Collaborating closely with Digital Engagement Manager to ensure content is optimized for platforms and adhering to best practice
  • Social Listening, monitor what is being said about brand and lifestyle ( food n drink n travel)  across social media channels and act spontaneously to capitalise on conversations/trends
  • Create and curate Instagram Stories
  • Localization: ensure global assets, campaigns and messages are effectively adapted to UKI market
  • Managing local social media shoots in partnership with Digital Engagement Manager
  • Identify emerging digital talent and content creators (in collaboration with the rest of the team) to constantly broaden audiences and deliver best in class and innovative content
  • Create and manage an advocacy programme for the brand
  • Oversee timely and responsive social media community management
  • Support on micro-influencers and local influencer events
  • Strong Storyteller and comfortable at writing copy for channels such as Instagram Stories

REPORTING:

  • Pull monthly reports from Sprinklr and native channels to report to the wider team
  • Understand different platform metrics and confidently be able to pull together the right data and metrics to support social objectives
  • Develop insights and learnings easily from social performance to inform strategy and content development

PUBLISHING:

  • Responsible for all day-to-day management and content publishing of the brand’s social media channel via Sprinklr
  • Plan logistics and ability to publish Live content

STRATEGY:

  • Support with shaping the always-on social media strategy for the brand, organic and paid
  • Share content performance and learnings to devise strategies and tactics to increase reach, engagement and delivering on brand objectives
  • Coordination of all paid social media activity in collaboration with the social and digital team
  • Knowledge of key social media tools: Sprinklr, Facebook Creative Hub, Netbase, Over
  • Staying on top of, and proactively sharing trends in social media and the wider digital landscape. Contributing to social strategy evolutions and campaign development

Personal Profile:

  • Passion for Social Media, Communication, Digital Engagement & Influencer Marketing
  • Minimum 1 year of experience within Social Media roles

Overall Description

An account director oversees an account. They should be able to manage and plan the total picture involved in a growing client relationship, with minimal involvement from board or managing director. An account director is a fully rounded PR operator who has a thorough understanding of the media and communication skills needed, and the business skills to grow their accounts within the context and plans of the agency.

 

The role should be to develop strategies and activities for clients and oversee their execution, quality controlling all aspects of the clients’ programmes and relationship with the agency.

 

An account director should fully understand the  role  of  PR  in  a  client’s  marketing mix  and  be   fully versed in the activities of other marketing disciplines, in particular those as used by the client.

 

Skill Requirements Written Work

  • Fully capable of writing all day-to-day written material for client including press releases, features, statements, Q&A’s, speeches, presentations etc.
  • Writing materials for client that are at a level that may be of a key or highly sensitive nature, 
dealing with senior or board level clients.
  • Having final say on the amendment and quality of press releases, internal copy for newsletters etc. produced by junior members of the team.
  • Develop, structure and write creative new business proposals with minimal input from board 
director or managing director.

 

Media Skills

  • An ability to add value to the media planning and approach process in both the new business/strategic planning stages and the on-going execution of media campaigns.

Purpose

  • To oversee the smooth and efficient running of the office on a day-to-day basis as well providing support to the Managing Director, acting her ‘right-hand’ person
  • You will also manage and support PR team of six, based in SW6, providing regular and ad-hoc support

Office Management Responsibilities

  • Ensure office environment is professional (interior and exterior), and all necessary resources and supplies are present and working. Maintain a clear and clutter-free working and meeting area, especially on days when there are client meetings on-site
  • To manage the purchase and maintenance of office equipment, facilities and services including office insurance contracts and other office-related contracts
  • Monitor stock levels of refreshments and replenish as necessary. Monitor stock levels of stationery and replenish as necessary
  • Manage office and team subscriptions to magazines and online resources and share with team
  • Answer incoming calls, sign in courier deliveries and store away
  • Answer general emails and postal correspondence with customers and suppliers including on behalf of Managing Director and team

Human Resources Responsibilities

  • Ensure personnel information is kept up to date, including but not limited to; holiday requests, sick forms, new joiner documentations emergency contact details, training manuals, on boarding information, staff handbook, contact lists, directory of office contacts etc.
  • Maintain basic personnel information, i.e. are processed appropriately
  • Liaise with accountant for payroll information on monthly basis

Finance Responsibilities

  • Must have knowledge of Xero accounting software
  • Process business and team expenses in line with company policy, file electronic and hard copies
  • Prepare repeating invoices for clients including additional ad-hoc expenses from client budget sheets, (i.e. courier, accommodation, transports costs) to ensure recharged back to clients and sent to MD for approval
  • Pay suppliers on time and prepare cheques for MD to sign and monitor spend. Handle any invoice queries and escalate to MD where necessary
  • Keep track and monitor client spend in line with their budgets
  • Keep track and monitor business expenses and credit card payments and process for payment

Events and Projects Responsibilities

  • Prepare guest lists and RSVP lists for monthly and annual events
  • Provides administrative support for the Managing Director and team as needed, including travel and accommodation plans for team and MD

Other Responsibilities

  • Undertake other duties commensurate with the level of this position
  • Efficient with word / excel / power point / knowledge of in design a plus
