Cramele Recaș announced as the first winery in Romania to be certified vegan

The largest winery in Romania, Cramele Recaș, has been certified as vegan following an inspection by the Bureau Veritas Certification. Cramele Recaș is the first Romanian winery to receive this certification.

Founded in 1998, the ambitious producer has grown significantly and sustainably over the years, harnessing high quality equipment to tend, raise and bottle the pristine fruit of both indigenous and international grape varieties.

The standard practice at Recas has always been low intervention, involving minimal additives, allergens and sulphur in the winemaking process. Eco spraying machines are used on the vineyards and the producer also recycles water and fuel.

Cramele Recaș is universally recognised for its superb affordability and consistently high- quality wines. Their entire range of dynamic wines is now certified vegan.
