On Thursday 18th April, before we all headed off for Easter weekend, Domaine Clarence Dillon hosted a selection of luxury, lifestyle and trade press at The Clove Club in Shoreditch, to present a vertical tasting with the exquisite wines from Château Quintus.
An eclectic mix of top journalists were present to discover the different wines from the beautiful estate in Saint-Émilion, Château Quintus. The paired five-course lunch compromised of raw Orkney scallop, hazelnut, clementine & Périgord Truffle; Morels stuffed with Wood Pigeon Sausage Snails & Wild Garlic; Welsh Speckle Face Lamb, Chickpea, Bagna Cauda & Swiss Chard, and followed by British Cheeses, Port Jelly, Oat Cakes & Rye Crackers.
The event was a huge success, with particular commendation owed to a thoughtful food and wine matching experience curated by prestigious chef, Isaac Mchale. The Clove Club was a superb location, exclusive and intimate, with an extraordinary gastronomic menu.
