Domaine Clarence Dillon host press lunch at The Clove Club to present Château Quintus wines

On Thursday 18th April, before we all headed off for Easter weekend, Domaine Clarence Dillon hosted a selection of luxury, lifestyle and trade press at The Clove Club in Shoreditch, to present a vertical tasting with the exquisite wines from Château Quintus.

An eclectic mix of top journalists were present to discover the different wines from the beautiful estate in Saint-Émilion, Château Quintus. Publications in attendance included The Independent, Gentleman’s Journal, The Sunday Express, Decanter, The Buyer, Wallpaper, GQ, Brummel, Daily Telegraph, BBC, Square Meal, Imbibe, Foodism, Show Media, Harpers Wine & Spirit, The Drinks Business…

The paired five-course lunch compromised of raw Orkney scallop, hazelnut, clementine & Périgord Truffle; Morels stuffed with Wood Pigeon Sausage Snails & Wild Garlic; Welsh Speckle Face Lamb, Chickpea, Bagna Cauda & Swiss Chard, and followed by British Cheeses, Port Jelly, Oat Cakes & Rye Crackers.

The event was a huge success, with particular commendation owed to a thoughtful food and wine matching experience curated by prestigious chef, Isaac Mchale. The Clove Club was a superb location, exclusive and intimate, with an extraordinary gastronomic menu.
